The Back-to-School Campaign continues to gain momentum through ongoing outreach efforts that connect eligible families with low-cost or free health care coverage in their state. The initiative's signature effort, the annual Covering Kids & Families Back-to-School Campaign, involves hosting media, enrollment and outreach activities in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia, throughout August and September. The events are designed to meet potentially eligible families and children where they live and come together in the community – including shopping malls, grocery stores, community centers, pharmacies, schools, health and safety fairs and churches.
