South Central Regional Coalition (SCRC)

Grant Overview
South Central Regional Coalition (SCRC) serves seven rural counties in southern Iowa, and is based in Marion County. The project's focus is to reach farm families and self-employed families in rural areas. Moving from the northern portion of the service area to the southern portion, the population and family income decreases, while the percentage of children eligible for free and reduced lunches and other public assistance increases.
