Northern New Jersey

Grant Overview
Administered by two agencies, this project covers four urban, poor, racially/ethnically diverse counties in northern New Jersey. Gateway offers local level training and technical assistance on active outreach and enrollment to community agencies and provides extensive off-site outreach and direct application assistance to working families, targeting schools and faith-based organizations and incorporating a NJ FamilyCare component into other outreach efforts. Kids Corporation's outreach activities and application assistance are focused on Newark schools, specifically through summer camps and school-based clinics.
