January 18, 2005 An Introduction to the HIPAA Privacy RuleCovering Kids & Families participants are concerned that recent changes in federal law may interfere with their ability to perform crucial activities related to meeting the goals and strategies of CKF. They are particularly concerned about the Federal Health Privacy Rule (the Privacy Rule), also known as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
